Long time no post!

I apologise for not posting sooner, I have been so busy, as you gardeners know the growth in this season is phenomenal plus the xmas season & I am leaving the country soon to visit my daughter in Berlin and plan to have a look at the south of England on my way (what pagan could resist?) I have been on some stunning walks up here at Springbrook so for now will share a couple of photos of them.

These are all taken on the Purlingbrook Falls Circuit taking the branch down to Warringa Pools (hope I've spelt it right) pop in & say hi  from me at the Dancing Waters Cafe! For a bit more info check out:

Organic Pest Control

Just added a link in the info section ~ on the right scroll down. Been trialling some neem spray I bought at Mudgereeba Markets (had a couple of little buggers eating things) seems to work fine.

Gardens are a window to the soul.

Welcome, this is a garden I tend up here on the mountain,
spectacular views  & some  lovely  flowers make it a delight to work in,
hope you enjoy the pics I am sharing with you.

Baby lebanese zucchini I have not grown these before
so looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

Self seeded bean making its way up the trellis!
Stunning wisteria!

Kipflers mulched & happy, kipflers
(german finger potato), yellow skin
waxy flesh ~ delicious, steamed,
boiled or roasted, excellent for salads.

Beltane

This is my scarecrow witch that I put up for Beltane 31st October (Southern Hemisphere) ~ no fires this year as there is a total fire ban up here at the moment so my scraggly witch made from some sticks, a bit of straw & some old bird netting (not to mention the baling twine hair!) was my little contribution this year!

Beltane is one of the four Greater Sabbats, a time to celebrate the union of  Goddess & God, an agricultural festival to honour procreation & life itself!

She really did seem to embrace the moment!

World Vegan Day

Today is international world vegan day, the beginning of world vegan month. So vegans celebrate & all the critters that are not eaten because of vegans celebrate!

My Sisters Garden

Joy in the Garden!

Very happy to see my sisters garden & it is looking rather gorgeous! Very colourful! I love the gnome on the mushroom, I too have gnomes in my garden will post some pics soon. I think it is imperative to have fun & get creative, gardens are a lovely place to sit & adding your own touch helps one feel very much a part of the garden. It also creates a sense of magic for those wonderful little visitors, never too young to get the gardening bug!

One awesome chair!!! Soooo inviting.

And the veggie patch is looking so healthy & happy, go Sis you are doing a fabulous job!
